Es uruguayo y viene de jugar en Olimpia del Paraguay. En ocho años de carrera como profesional lleva anotados cerca de 40 goles.
Su nombre es Danilo Javier Peinado, delantero zurdo, tiene 25 años y es el nuevo refuerzo de Oriente Petrolero.
Sus inicios se remonta a 1998 en Defensor Sporting de Uruguay, club donde también debutó profesionalmente cuatro años después. Luego pasó a Montevideo Wanderes y finalmente Olimpia.
Entre sus logros está un título de liguilla en Uruguay (Defensor) y participaciones en cuatro copas Libertadores y tres Sudamericanas, además de la selección charrúa Sub-20.
Ayer pasó la revisión médica y éste jueves se incorporará al trabajo del equipo albiverde.
¿Cómo se produce su llegada a Oriente?
-Mi representante se comunicó conmigo y me habló de la posibilidad de venir.
Se iniciaron las negociaciones hasta que por fin se llegó a un acuerdo
¿Cuáles son las condiciones?
-Es hasta diciembre. El tema contractual ya está todo acordado. Después de las pruebas médicas se firmará el contrato.
¿Cuáles son sus características de juego?
-Soy un delantero que puede jugar, tanto por el área como por todo el frente del ataque. Tengo juego aéreo, soy fuerte y sobre todo, tengo entrega.
¿Cuántos años lleva en el fútbol?
-Desde mis 17, ya son ocho años que estoy en Primera División.
¿Cuántos goles lleva anotados?
-He marcado bastante, no tengo bien la cuenta, pero aproximadamente unos 35 a 40 goles.
¿La mayoría fueron de cabeza o remate?
-Bastante dividido, hago goles de cabeza y también desde fuera del área, de todo tipo.
¿Cuál de las piernas maneja mejor?
-Soy zurdo.
¿Patea tiros libres?
-También me animo a pegarle, pero supongo que Oriente tendrá sus ejecutores. Sería cuestión de ver.
¿Cuál ha sido su experiencia en Olimpia?
-Fue mi primera salida internacional, gané mucha en experiencia.
¿Qué conoce de Oriente?
-Sé que ganó la Copa de Invierno hace pocos días y que ha debutado en el torneo Clausura con un empate.
También averigüé que el clásico rival es Blooming y que es un equipo que aspira a cosas importantes como el título.
Según los medios uruguayos Wanderes quería tenerlo como refuerzo, ¿Qué le hizo inclinar por Oriente?
-Por suerte en Wanderes he andado bien y la gente me quiere mucho y quería que me quede. Sin embargo, Oriente también es un equipo grande y me atrajo la posibilidad de jugar Copa Sudamericana y lograr cosas importantes.
¿Conoce a Jorge Ramírez?
-Sí, allá en Uruguay nos conocemos todos, es un país chico. Jugué contra él y lo conozco bien, creo que ahora está un poco lesionado. Si nos toca jugar juntos vamos a tratar de dejar todo para que Oriente logre cosas importantes.
¿Qué impresión tiene del fútbol boliviano?
-Creo que no está pasando por su mejor momento por el tema de eliminatorias y torneos internacionales.
Sin embargo, a nivel local veo que es un torneo bastante competitivo. Cuando me hablaron de la posibilidad de venir a Oriente y pelear cosas importantes ni lo dudé.
Yo vengo acá a tratar de salir campeón, si fuese por otra cosa no venía.
¿Cómo cree que le irá en Oriente?
-Ojalá que bien, espero sentirme bien en la cancha para poder devolverle la confianza con goles.
¿Cómo vivió la campaña de Uruguay en el Mundial?
-Muy feliz por la alegría que le dieron los jugadores al pueblo uruguayo. La verdad fue increíble, porque Uruguay es un país chico que tiene carencias en todo sentido y terminar entre los primeros cuatro, fue realmente increíble.

Ocurrente y provocativo como siempre, el loro, la mascota de Oriente, intentó ‘calentar’ el clásico del domingo ingresando a la cancha del Tahuichi con una pancarta. En ella hacía referencia a cuando Blooming jugó en la Primera A en 1996, tras su descenso de la Liga en 1995.
Los jugadores de Oriente Petrolero fueron objeto de un espectacular recibimiento, el martes, previo al partido por la Copa Sudamericana frente al Tolima. Una de las curvas se tiñó completamente de verde cuando el equipo albiverde saltó a la cancha.
Durante dos años 1994/95 Oriente Petrolero mantuvo un invicto insuperable durante 12 partidos con 9 victorias y 3 empates.

soy orientista y vivo en Uruguay... pregunté por este Peinado y les cuento que lo conocen más que a Jorge Ramirez. Me dicen que tiene un buen nivel. Ojalá rinda. Lo bueno que tanto el como Ramírez tienen una edad ideal y no son los típicos extranjeros de 35 años o de equipos de la frontera brasilera o suplentazos en el nacional B de argentina. Estos por lo menos vienen de jugar en ligas mas competitivas que las nuestras y como decia tienen edad como para sudar la camiseta y romperla. Además inyectarán garra charrúa.
